    Job Purpose

    As an Asset Financing Consultant, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining strong relationships with customers and business partners, providing banking support services, and actively promoting iMasFinance’s vehicle and asset financing solutions. You will work within the contact centre environment and utilize digital technologies to reach a wider audience and enhance customer experiences.

    Your primary objective will be to sell iMasFinance’s vehicle and asset financing products, personal loans (both secured and unsecured), and other value-added products. You will also support sales through up-selling and cross-selling initiatives, contributing directly to the cooperative’s transformation strategy.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Sales and Relationship Building:
      • Sell vehicle and asset financing products, personal loans, and value-added products to prospective customers.
      • Engage in up-selling and cross-selling initiatives to offer additional iMasFinance products to existing customers.
      • Foster strong relationships with members, employer groups, dealerships, and other stakeholders.
    • Financial Assessments:
      • Conduct affordability and repayment ability assessments for customers to determine suitable financing solutions.
      • Analyse customers’ financial situations and offer tailored solutions for their financing needs.
    • Customer Service and Retention:
      • Deliver high-quality customer service to ensure satisfaction and foster loyalty.
      • Retain and maintain relationships with existing customers by addressing their needs and inquiries promptly.
    • Risk Management:
      • Identify potential risks and communicate them to relevant stakeholders within the organization.
      • Ensure all activities align with applicable legislation, such as FAIS (Financial Advisory and Intermediary Services) and NCA (National Credit Act) requirements.

    Qualifications and Experience

    To succeed in this role, you must possess the following:

    • Educational Background:
      • Matric with Mathematics and/or Accounting (Essential)
      • FAIS Recognised Qualification or Certificate for Representatives (Essential)
      • Regulatory Examination (Recommended)
    • Licensing and Computer Skills:
      • Valid Driver’s License (Code 8) (Essential)
      • Proficiency in MS Office (Essential)
    • Professional Experience:
      • Minimum of 2 years of experience in the financial or banking industry, with a focus on vehicle/asset financing.
      • Practical knowledge of sales, customer service, and financial products.

      • Proficient in engaging with customers and employing effective selling techniques to meet and exceed sales targets.
