    Frontshop Assistant Job Description

    As a Frontshop Assistant at Dis-Chem Pharmacies in Cascades Lifestyle Centre, you will be responsible for ensuring that the store’s product displays and stock levels meet company standards, assisting customers, and performing cashier duties.       • Restock merchandise when necessary to support maximum sales.
      • Follow up with customers on out-of-stock items using Dis-Chem’s customer service procedures.
    2. Stock Handling and Display Standards:
      • Ensure stock is correctly stored and organized, both on shelves and in the storeroom.
      • Check that merchandise displays, labels, and prices are always accurate and report discrepancies to management.
      • Organize and tidy the storeroom for easy access and maintenance.
      • Assist with unloading stock and transferring it to the correct display areas.
    3. Customer Service:
      • Build positive relationships with customers, providing friendly and helpful assistance.
      • Handle customer complaints and compliments professionally, forwarding feedback to management.
      • Meet customer turnover benchmarks as set by Dis-Chem.
    4. Cashiering and Transactions:
      • Process customer payments accurately, including handling cash, cards, vouchers, and coupons.

      • Process Dis-Chem loyalty cards and manage stock control by following rotation protocols.
      • Maintain accurate cash flow and manage all transactions carefully.

    Requirements
