Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma in Human Resources is mandatory.
- A Degree in Human Resource Management is preferable.
- 3-5 years of experience in human resources, focusing on policy and legislation.
- Prior experience in Aquaculture or Farming industries is required.
- Essential exposure to working in a unionized environment.

- Coordination of HR Related Annual Processes: Facilitate and manage HR-related annual processes within AVI Limited.
- Recruitment & On-boarding: Lead recruitment efforts and oversee the seamless on-boarding of new employees.
- Training & Development: Implement and monitor training programs to enhance employee skills and competencies.
- Talent & Development: Identify and nurture talent within the organization to support long-term growth.
- Employee Relations: Manage employee relations and foster a positive work environment.
- Employee Exits: Handle employee exits and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Employee Engagement: Develop strategies to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction.
- Reward & Remuneration: Administer reward and remuneration programs to motivate and retain employees.
- General Administration & Reporting: Perform general HR administrative duties and prepare insightful reports.
- Community Project Involvement: Participate in community projects to strengthen AVI Limited’s corporate social responsibility initiatives.
Additional Requirements
- In-depth understanding of South African Labour Law is essential.
- Proficient knowledge of HR functions and practices.
