Events Co-Ordinator Job Description
The Events Co-Ordinator plays a critical role in connecting the campus community through well-planned and executed events. Key Responsibilities
1. Event Planning and Coordination
- Plan and execute events as per the national and campus-specific calendar.
- Define event requirements, source venues and suppliers, and ensure all logistics are covered.
- Coordinate invitations, manage RSVPs, and market events effectively.
- Oversee the event on the day to ensure seamless delivery.
- Maintain budgetary control and document event outcomes with photos and reports.
- Build relationships with entities to meet safety and compliance standards.
2. Staff Communication Coordination
- Implement the campus communication strategy.
- Compile and distribute communication for various departments.
- Track communication engagement and ensure protocol compliance.
3. Student Communication Coordination
- Develop and distribute campus-related communications using various platforms (e.g., website, SMS, app).
- Log and action all communication with students to foster engagement.
- Share photos and updates on campus events to keep students informed and connected.
4. Social and Communications Committee Management
- Manage the Student Council’s Social and Communication portfolio.

Requirements
Educational Background
