    Duties and Responsibilities

    As the HR Officer at Pedros, you will handle a wide variety of tasks that are central to maintaining an effective and legally compliant HR function across the Limpopo region and beyond. Here are some of your key responsibilities:

    5. Training and Development: Playing a key role in employee training and development at the store level, ensuring that staff are equipped with the necessary skills to succeed.
    6. Performance Management: Executing the Individual Performance Management (IPM) system to ensure all employees are meeting their targets and contributing positively to the organization.
    7. Employee Relations: Staying up to date with the latest tools and best practices in employee relations, providing day-to-day advice to managers, directors, and employees.
    8. Disciplinary Hearings: Chairing disciplinary hearings to ensure fair and lawful resolutions to employee issues.
    9. CCMA Representation: Representing the company at the Commission for Conciliation, Mediation and Arbitration (CCMA) for conciliation, arbitration, and other legal hearings.
    10. Grievance Handling: Managing group and individual grievances in the workplace.
    11. Counseling and Training: Providing counseling, evaluation, and training to staff members when necessary.
    12. Incapacity Investigations: Handling incapacity investigations for both poor work performance and ill health.
    13. Retrenchment Procedures: Facilitating retrenchment processes when necessary.
    14. Union Negotiations: Drafting or perusing recognition agreements, wage agreements, and any other agreements related to employees and unions.
    15. Strike Management: Attending strikes and assisting in the resolution of strike-related issues.

    Requirements
