Key Responsibilities
- Lecture Room Support:
- Provide first-line support for computer and lecture venues.
- Ensure operational efficiency and neatness of computer and lecture spaces.
- Perform daily checks on copiers, printers, projectors, and wireless infrastructure.
- Hardware Support:
- Assist users with desktop, laptop, and peripheral issues.
- Install and set up hardware, including desktops, laptops, printers, and projectors.
- Software Support:
- Install and update software for users.
- Handle queries related to software and manage software licensing.
- End User Training:
- Instruct users on hardware and software use.
- Respond to hardware and software-related queries.
- Administer Active Directory accounts and mailboxes.
- Administration and Documentation:
- Log IT-related queries with the Service Desk.
- Assist with administrative tasks and update hardware/software asset registers.
- Prepare and analyze reports on photocopiers and telephones.
- General Support:
- Maintain the neatness of the Server Room, ICT Office, and ICT Storeroom.
- Manage ICT equipment sign-out/sign-in processes.
- Assessment Support:
- Provide administration and support for IT-related tests and exams.
- Development:
- Shadow Senior ICT and ICT Support staff for skill development.
- Troubleshoot and assess server problems.
