    Responsibilities

    As a Nursing Practitioner at Clicks Oakfields, you will play a pivotal role in promoting and delivering professional, quality clinic services. Your responsibilities will include:

    • Managing a Commercially Viable Clinic: Ensure the clinic operates smoothly and profitably, adhering to company guidelines and standards.
    • Lifestyle Management Screening Tests: Conduct screening tests that help clients manage their health better.
    • “Well Baby” Clinics: Facilitate baby health monitoring, including immunizations and general health checks.
    • Reproductive Health Services: Provide comprehensive reproductive health services to clients.
    • Adult Immunisations: Administer necessary immunizations to adults, contributing to community health initiatives.
    • Primary Health Care Services: Attend to minor ailments, wound care, and other primary health care needs.
    • Phlebotomy Services: Perform blood draws and related services.
    • Professional Reporting and Management: Compile reports on stock levels, financials, and overall clinic operations.
    • Medical Waste Management: Ensure proper disposal of medical waste and maintain a safe, hygienic environment.
    • Health Education and Referrals: Offer advice on health, weight management, and refer patients to other healthcare professionals as needed.
    • Organising Health Days: Plan and implement community health projects and initiatives.

    Requirements

    To qualify for this role, candidates must meet the following minimum requirements:

    • Professional Nursing Registration: Must be registered as a Professional Nurse with the South African Nursing Council (SANC).
    • Educational Background: A 3-year diploma in nursing or a 4-year nursing degree is required.
    • Experience: At least 3 years of practical experience in various nursing disciplines, preferably in Community Health, Primary Health, and Midwifery.
    • Technical Skills: Knowledge of Unisolv and Allegra systems is preferred, and proficiency in MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) is required.
