    Key Responsibilities:

    • Occupational Health Management: Oversee primary health care, dispense medications, and engage with stakeholders to enhance clinic operations.
    • Staff Supervision: Provide leadership and ongoing support to clinic staff while managing clinic activities and performance.
    • Reporting and Compliance: Prepare detailed reports and assist with audits, ensuring adherence to health and safety standards.

    Qualifications and Experience:

    • Educational Requirements: BCur Nursing degree/diploma and BTech in Occupational Health.
    • Certifications: Current South African Nursing Council (SANC) registration, dispensing certificate, and certifications in audiometry, spirometry, and vision screening.
    • Experience: Minimum 2 years in Occupational Health with a solid understanding of the Mine Health and Safety Act, Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHS Act), and ISO/IEC 17020-201.
    • Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Office, SAP, or similar software.

    Essential Duties:

    • Health Assessments: Conduct medical fitness evaluations, including pre-employment, transfer, annual, and exit assessments.
    • Primary Health Care: Assist with managing primary health care and handling minor injuries.
    • Screening Procedures: Perform and interpret audiometry, spirometry, and vision tests, reporting significant findings to the Occupational Medical Practitioner.
    • Additional Responsibilities: Support the Clinic Manager with reports, audits, and standby duties.
