Job Responsibilities
1. Customer Service & Sales
- Greet and acknowledge every customer within 30 seconds of entering the store.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by identifying customer needs and using technical knowledge to demonstrate the benefits of products.
- Achieve daily sales targets and encourage add-on sales.
- Regularly monitor personal sales performance against individual budgets.
2. Inventory Management
- Replenish footwear, apparel, and accessories daily from the storeroom.
- Minimize shrinkage through attentive store zoning and adherence to changing room policies.
- Accurately update stock entries in the Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Process deliveries by verifying quantities, tagging, pricing, and recording in the POS system.
- Manage and process customer orders efficiently.
3. Daily Store Operations
- Maintain impeccable store housekeeping standards, including:
- Dusting
- Cleaning mirrors
- Vacuuming
- Emptying bins
- Tidying the counter and change rooms.
- Assist the store manager with opening and closing duties.
4. Training and Development
- Proactively engage in training, starting with guidance from an assigned “buddy.”
- Attend quarterly training sessions and complete relevant assessments.
- Set monthly meetings with the store manager for progress discussions using the Hey Dude rookie pack.
- Consistently seek feedback to improve and prepare for promotional opportunities.
5. Merchandising
- Ensure stock presentation aligns with store standards.
- Replenish sizes and assist in changing window displays and mannequins bi-weekly.
- Safeguard Point of Sale (POS) materials to avoid damage.

Requirements
The ideal candidate will meet the following criteria:
- Education: Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year in customer service (retail experience preferred).
