    Responsibilities

    The Sub-District Technical Assistant will play a pivotal role in assisting the implementation of TB/HIV/PMTCT/QI (Prevention of Mother-to-Child Transmission/Quality Improvement) initiatives at both the sub-district and facility levels.     1. Clinical and Technical Support: The successful candidate will provide technical advice on TB programs to both Anova Health Institute and Department of Health (DoH) staff. In this capacity, you will act as a key resource for program implementation, offering expertise and supporting clinical personnel.
    2. Monitoring and Facilitation: You will be responsible for identifying facilities that are not meeting their targets in TB management. This entails initiating Quality Improvement Plans (QIPs) and facilitating Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) programs at various health facilities.
    3. Training and Capacity Building: One of the essential aspects of the role is identifying training gaps among healthcare staff and providing comprehensive training on TB/HIV/PMTCT policies, guidelines, and protocols. This will ensure that the clinical workforce remains up-to-date on the latest standards and procedures.
    4. Coordination and Reporting: As a Technical Assistant, you will compile and submit various reports, including quarterly and monthly reports on TB/HIV/PMTCT to the funders and Department of Health.
